CHEMIST EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
AT
ROCKY  MOUNTAIN INSTRUMENTAL
LABORATORIES

WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE A CHEMIST NOW.

CHEMIST I:  Applicants must have a B.Sc. in chemistry or related field, with chemistry class work through quantitative analysis and a strong interest in instrumentation and bioanalysis. No previous experience is required, but applicants must be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of chemistry principles and laboratory skills.  We provide excellent training and encourage innovation and professional development.   The majority of the work will involve GC, HPLC/MS/MS, GC/MS/MS, and conventional HPLC.

CHEMIST II:  Applicants must have at least a B.Sc. in chemistry or related field with class work through quantitative analysis and several years' experience in a bioanalytical laboratory.  A secure understanding of GC/MS, GC, and HPLC is essential.  A knowledge of HPLC/MS is a strong plus, as is knowledge of  GLP and GMP.   However, we realize that LCMS knowledge is not common.

RML is a very interesting place to work, and we all get along very well.  "Plays well with others" is a requirement.  The work is as varied as is our web site.  Neither position is dull or routine.  Both require that the lights be on and that someone be home.  The chemist positions will be filled as we find qualified people.

In addition to a competitive salary, we provide health insurance and educational benefits.  The major professional benefit will be that we provide excellent training.

Please snail mail resume and transcripts (unofficial is quite adequate).  Please e-mail  or call for additional information.  Please note that a written chemistry test will be required before an interview is offered.  The test is not especially arcane or difficult chemistry.  It merely separates the scientists from the non-scientists.  Microbiologists can do very well.
